Mission

Tip Top Childcare Limited provides care and early education to every child, tailored to their individual needs across our three settings located in Willenhall, Moxley and Bilston. Children’s educational needs and interests are catered for during our enriching activities, in our safe and homely environments. Our staff are trained to support you and your child through their Early Years Education supporting learning and development both at nursery and at home.

Tip Top strives to develop good relationships with parents, families and professionals, as we believe that in order to provide the best care and education, and for each child to develop and flourish to their maximum potential. Positive, professional relationships and role models are key. We provide care and education in a nurturing, caring environment, where the child learns through play and exploration, and their needs are at the heart of everything that we do. We aim to support children to grow and develop into happy, confident, independent school ready individuals.

Alongside promoting children's early education, we also support good health and nutrition, with freshly cooked healthy meals each day, a focus on oral hygiene, and supporting the children and our families to explore healthy foods in new and fun ways. Children receive a healthy balanced diet across all three settings. Children (depending on session timings) will receive breakfast, mid morning snack, hot cooked lunch, mid afternoon snack and a light tea. Snack consists of fruits, vegetables, sometimes a light carbohydrate and an option of milk or water. We cater to dietary requirements for allergies and intolerances, as well as cultural preferences, please inform the nursery of these on enrollment.

Pre School Room

The Pre-school room is located within the large side of the main hall, this open space offers the children free flow access around all set up areas including outdoors to maximise learning and development through play. The Pre-school room encourages independent play, and has a range of physically challenging toys to strengthen gross motor skills and enhance children's balance and awareness of dangers and managing their own risk.

Each day we provide opportunities for self directed learning and exploring, Where children can explore each area within the room and access the equipment within the low baskets. The key person for the child is on hand to extend the child’s learning. Each day there will be a planned activity.

We support your children to develop their independence, further their social skills and encourage number and phonics awareness ready for their journey to school.

15 and 30 hours funding is available (subject to eligibility criteria) as well as private spaces, or a combination of both.

 Teenies
(0-1  room)

This room is small and cosy, with a cushioned floor and lots of cosy rug areas. It has its own changing area and direct access to the kitchen where bottles and snacks can be prepared fresh and when the child requires. There are a variety of safe, educational toys and resources available for your baby to safely explore and develop their skills. Babies are assigned a key person to work closely with them and their family so wishes and requirements can be met. Individual planned experiences for babies are planned on a daily basis, focusing primarily on their physical, social and communication development.

Garden

“Side garden” is located at the side of the nursery and is used by Pre-school and Toddlers at separate times of the day. This area has a mix of grass and slabbed areas, as well as a beautiful construction area and a mud kitchen to enhance learning in an outdoor environment.

“soft garden” is located at the back of the building and is primarily textured rubber mulch, to provide a soft space for tinies and teenies to explore, as well as a mud kitchen, enclosed wendy house, colourful water wall and a beautiful wild flower area.
