Here are some pictures of various events we have had recently and some activities which the children enjoy here at Tip Top Wednesbury.
Our Firefighter visit and learning about fire safety: The children learnt all about the role of a firefighter, what equipment they use and what uniform they wear also. We learnt about how to keep safe by fire and not to touch as it is hot. This is a great opportunity for children to learn about different roles in the community and why they are important.
Our visit from the Ice cream van: The children enjoyed making their own choices, encouraging good commuincation and good manners. The children also learnt about the concept of money as we paid for the ice creams, looking and leanring to recognise the numbers they could see on the price list.
Our celebrations for the kings corronation: The children learnt about the royal family and what the corronation means. They learnt key words such as ‘corronation’ ‘crown’ ‘king’, etc and used these in their play. Parents and carers joined us for celebrations and we had so much fun.
Our messy play and curious play: The children develop a range of skills through their play here at tip top. They learn to problem solve, communicate and negotiate and lots of opporunites for language development.
Our home learning and parent partnership: We pride ourselves on working closely with parents to sure we provide the best possible childcare and learning opportunities.
Our Moxley garden has started its transformation. What a difference a few hours make. We are looking forward to the children being able to explore, learn about the great outdoors, exploring different plants and the bugs and animals they find along the way.
