The three Tip Top Nurseries are owned by two Graduate Early Years Professionals, we work closely with our team to provide a supportive environment. There are regular staff appraisals, supervisions and meetings to identify areas for improvement and share good practice.
We believe that by having a happy staff team who feel valued and respected that this has a positive impact on the quality of care and by empowering our team, they strive to be the best they can be.
Training & Development
We value our staff very highly and invest in their personal and professional development in order to deliver excellent outcomes and service quality.
Staff development may include one-to-one coaching and mentoring, in-house training, online training through NoodleNow or external courses. All staff are required to keep up to date with core training such as First Aid, Child Protection/Safeguarding and Food Hygiene.
We encourage and support staff to undertake short courses based on elements of the EYFS or higher qualifications such as Foundation Degrees, Honours Degrees or Early Years Teacher Status.
We also support staff to undertake work-based NVQ training if they wish, in areas related to our profession, for example in Team Leading or Customer Service.
Tip Top Day Nursery staff are recruited and vetted very carefully to ensure we have the right person for the role of Early Years Practitioner in one of our settings.
